3D Printing Thermally Stable High‐Performance Polymers Based on a Dual Curing Mechanism

High-performance polymers are an important class of materials that used in challenging conditions, such as aerospace applications. Until now, 3D printing based on stereolithography processes can not be performed due to a lack suitable materials. There is report new and compositions enable objects having extremely high thermal resistance, with Tg 283 °C excellent mechanical properties. The by low-cost Digital Light Processing printer, the formulation dual-cure mechanism, photo, process. main components molecule has both epoxy acrylate groups, alkylated melamine enables degree crosslinking, soluble precursor silica. resulting made hybrid materials, which silicon present polymeric backbone partly silica enforcement particles.
